The reflection of micro teaching

I did micro teaching in last class. It was very difficult for me. I thought that teaching is very difficult.
The objective of my activity was that every student can join the class and get skills. I wanted to teach English pleasantly. And I wanted student who don't like English to like English.
When I was a junior high school student, I thought that the class that teacher teach English one-sidedly is very boring for students.
So, I thought that every student should speak English in the class. And, like this, if every student speak English, teacher can notice student who can't understand.

The micro teaching was very difficult. But, it was very good chance to practice teaching for me.
And, I understood that there are many students who have different character(student who don't like English, like English and so on) in class. In this environment, I think teaching English is very difficult. I want to study how to teach English hard.

I am rozen whose charcter while your micro teaching was 'you are shy with members of the opposite sex.'
I could enjoy your class because I was able to join to the class.
But I have to approgize to you that as I did't decide what I ask next one of me do.I thought the time is money of this activity.
Thank you for your teaching♪

Hi! Emiko☆
This is Kanage. Thank you for your micro teaching.
I also think that every student speak English in class is so important.
Because, teacher can notice student who can understand or can’t understand as you wrote it in your blog. And students can hear so many English through the activity that they can understand English using their body.
Your micro teaching was so fun!! I didn’t feel that I learning English. Students would understand imperative phrase naturally through this activity.
When junior high student do this activity, if there are the student who does not understand way of speaking and the student who do not understand how to use, I think that a student of the circumference should teach it.
Thanks♪

I think your class was very good, because in your class every member could join in this activity with smiling! I enjoyed too. Also your class is very useful to make students who is not good at English get confidence.
So I think this activity is good idea.
I want to use this way too when I teach imperative sentences.
Thank you for your teaching♪

Hi,Emiko. I'm Yuichi.
Thank you for teaching us English in the last class. Actually it was very interesting because everyone could join the class.
Students will be more concentrated because they have to say something they studied.
My idea is after someone said the words, everyone may repeat it again. And then they can recognize
the expression more and more.Thank you☆

Hi! This is MIKAKO.
At first, thank you for your micro teaching. I found that you prepared sufficiently for the last class.
You wanted to teach English pleasantly. I think your objective was achieved. Because in the fact, we could learn imperative sentencce with enjoy. And all students in the class could participate in the class. So we weren't bored with your lecture at all.
Besides, when you instructed today class action at first, you gave us examples because we didn't understand your instruction. This your action was very nice!! So it was easy for us to do it. That is very important in junior high school teaching. I think so.
I could enjoy your micro teaching!THANK YOU!!!

Hello, Emiko.
I enjoyed your lesson. My heart pounded violently with what will happen next. Your activity is easy for students to play together. I wanted some hint of verb. I had difficulty in choosing of an order. You could prepared some vocablary in the paper.Thank you for your work.

Hi!Emiko.
This is Nakki.Thank you for your micro teaching!I enjoyed your class. It is important that every students can join the class.I think your idea is very effevtive in another point.Students think original imperative sentence by themselves. In fact I thought the sentence until my turn came. Also, I was a little nervous because I couln't know when my turn came and what I was said. So, I concentrated the activity very much.It was good point, too. But some students may get too nervous. So teacher supports the students, and your idea will be more effevtive and enjoyable for every students.
Thanks☆

Hi,Emiko☆This is Satona.
Your micro teaching in last class was interesting.Using moemnt is so fun and I think that students will enjoy it,too.By expressing by our body, student would understand the sentences or words, and oher studts see it, listen the words, and learn them, I think.Your idea that al student commanded and cater to the direction was creative and eveyone can study enjoying.
Thank you for your presentation!!

Thank you for your teaching. That sounded fun I think. But there ware some time. If you have free hand in your class, it may be good to close to ss. And ss had finished their turn never have expection they may be ordered. So I have 2 ideas. One is separating ss some groupes. And another is your approaching ss. I think that would make your class active.

Emiko,
I really liked your idea and I thought that your activity was a lot of fun. I think that you could have improved the activity in the following way:
1) You explained how to do the activity to your ETM 3 classmates but junior high school students would not have understood your explanation and you would have had to have spoken in Japanese. I think it is important to SHOW how to do an activity rather than explain how to do ana ctivity.

Manning さんのコメント...

Hi!
I am Manning.I think micro teaching is difficult but good job!I have one idea about this teaching method. We are university students however real students are junior high school students, so you should prepare some example sentencese. Perhaps, some students can't give a sentence.
I enjoyed your micro teaching.
Good job!!

Hi! I'm Bu-chan☆
Thank you for your teaching!
It was understandable for me.
I think teaching is difficult.
When I was 3 grade, I did a teaching English plactice. Then I
thought so.
Your teaching was good, but I reccomend you to say words more loudly and look students cerefully.
If you do that, your class will be more interesting!

wakame さんのコメント...

Hello!Emiko! This is Wakame.
Thank you for your teaching. I think that your way of teaching was so nice and effective, because it is important that every student can be active in the class.
In your activity students can enjoy speaking English, because they can make the sentences freely. I think that it is also good point. Thank you!

genzai-sin さんのコメント...

Hi Emiko!
This is genzai-sin.My character while your micro teaching was "You dislike English." But I could enjoyed your class, because students could create imperative sentence with friends or by themselves. And we could input each other many times.
I think if you communicate with students more, your teaching would improve. And I recommend you to use "Everyone" as the subject of imperative sentence.
